OR

Configuration A

Before connecting your TV

You have

a router

one or more PCs connected to the router

one free Ethernet connector on the router

Go to Connecting and configuring your TV, Configuration A, p. 5.

Configuration B

If feasible we advise to set up a router-based network as described in Configuration A before connecting your TV.

Before connecting your TV

You have

a PC with a free Ethernet connector. Note: If you don’t have a free Ethernet connector on your PC you will have to buy and install an extra Ethernet card.

Go to Connecting and configuring your TV, Configuration B, p. 5.

Connecting your TV to a single PC requires a special crossed network

! cable.

*Ethernet: Ethernet is a well-established local area networking standard, and is incorporated into (or available) for most computers.

*Router: A device that does the interconnecting of networks. Its job is to coordinate and filter traffic between the networks. (E.g. your home network and the Internet.)
