The display

HQ8290: Before you use the shaver for the first time, remove the protective foil from the display.

The three shaver types (HQ8290, HQ8270 and HQ8260) have different displays, which are shown in the figures below.

’Charging’ indication

Charging takes approx. 60 minutes.

A fully charged shaver has a cordless shaving time of up to 55 minutes, which is enough for approx. 17 shaves.

HQ8290

-- When the shaver is charging, the minutes indication and the plug symbol flash (Fig. 9).

-- The shaving minutes increase until the shaver is fully charged.

HQ8270/HQ8260

-- When the shaver is charging, the battery level lights go on in a rising pattern as the battery charges.   (Fig. 10)

’Battery fully charged’ indication 

HQ8290

-- When the battery is fully charged, the minutes indication is visible on the display and the plug symbol disappears from the display.  (Fig. 11)
