2Insert four 1,5V AA batteries, noting the + and – configuration inside the battery compartment (batteries are not supplied, we recommend Philips Alkaline batteries).

3Close the battery compartment cover (A-10), using a coin

The baby unit is now ready for battery operated use.

Large parent unit

The large parent unit can be mains or battery operated.When batteries are installed, you have an automatic back up in case of mains failure.

Mains operated use

1Connect the power adapter cord to the power supply jack

(DC 9V —<+- B-6) of the parent unit.

2Connect the AC power adapter (B-4) to a wall outlet.

The large parent unit is now ready for mains operated use.

Battery operated use

1Open the parent unit’s battery compartment, using a

screwdriver and slide down the cover (B-11).

2Insert four 1,5V AA batteries, noting the + and – configuration inside the battery compartment (batteries are not supplied, we recommend Philips Alkaline batteries).

3Slide the battery compartment cover (B-11) back in place until it clicks in position and close the compartment, using a screwdriver.

The large parent unit is now ready for battery operated use.
