!Even if you change this setting, there is no output unless you turn the subwoofer output on (refer to Using subwoofer output on page 22).

!If you change this setting, subwoofer output in the audio menu return to the factory set- tings.

!Both rear speaker lead outputs and RCA rear

output are switched simultaneously in this setting.

Switching the Ever Scroll

When Ever Scroll is set to ON, recorded text in- formation scrolls continuously in the display. Set to OFF if you prefer the information to scroll just once.

1Use MULTI-CONTROL to select

EVER SCROLL.

2Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn the Ever

Scroll on.

# To turn the Ever Scroll off, press MULTI-CONTROL again.

3Use MULTI-CONTROL to select the de- sired setting.

Turn to change the setting.

EURO (European language)—RUSSIA (Rus-

sian language)

# You can also perform the same operations by pushing MULTI-CONTROL up or down.

Saving the battery consumption

This function is available only for DEH-5000UB. Switching this function on enables you to save the consumption of battery power.

!Operations other than turning on the source are not allowed when this function is on.

Important

If the battery in your vehicle is disconnected, the Power Save mode is canceled. Turn on Power Save again once the battery has been recon- nected. If the ignition switch in your vehicle doesn’t have an ACC (accessory) position, it is possible depending on the connection method that when Power Save is off, the unit will draw power from the battery.

Multi language display setting

Text information such as title name, artist name or comment can be recorded on a com- pressed audio disc.

This unit can display them even if they are em- bedded in a European language or Russian.

!If the embedded language and the selected language setting are not the same, text in- formation may not be displayed properly.

!Some characters may not be displayed properly.

1Use MULTI-CONTROL to select

TITLE SETTING.

2Press MULTI-CONTROL to display the

setting mode.

# Press BACK to return to the previous display.

1Use MULTI-CONTROL to select

POWER SAVE.

2Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn the

power save on.

# To turn the power save off, press MULTI-CONTROL again.
