These are the basic steps necessary to play a CD with your built-in CD player. More advanced CD operation is explained starting on page 20.

1TRACK NUMBER indicator

Shows the track currently playing.

2PLAY TIME indicator

Shows the elapsed playing time of the cur- rent track.

1Press EJECT.

CD loading slot appears.

2Insert a CD into the CD loading slot. Playback will automatically start.

You can eject a CD by pressing EJECT.

If the front panel is in the EJECT position (shown above), buttons other than EJECT, VOLUME, OPEN, and ATT (on the remote con- trol) do not operate.

3After a CD has been inserted, press SOURCE to select the built-in CD player. Press SOURCE until you see Compact Disc dis- played.
