Making a call by enteringphone number

1 Displaythe function menu.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
NUMBERDIAL.
#Youcan also enter in this menu from the
standbydisplay by pressing DIRECT on the re-
motecontrol.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
selecta number.
#Youcan also input numbers by pressing 0to 9
onthe remote control.
4 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
movethe cursor to the previous or next po-
sition.
#Upto 24 digits can be entered.
5 Whenyou finish entering the number,
pressMULTI-CONTROL.
Callconfirmation appears.
6 PressMULTI-CONTROL again to make a
call.
7 Toend the call, press .

#Ifyou want to clear the entire Phone Book,
callhistory list and preset phone number, select
ALLCLEAR.
4 PushMULTI-CONTROL right to deter-
minethe item that you want to delete
fromthis unit.
CLEARMEMORY : YES is displayed. Clearing
memoryis now on standby.
#Ifyou do not want to clear the memory that
youhave selected, push MULTI-CONTROL left.
Thedisplay reverts to normal.
5 PressMULTI-CONTROL to clear the
memory.
CLEAREDis displayed and data on the se-
lecteditem is cleared from this units memor y.
