Oil Recommendations

POLARIS recommends the use of POLARIS PS-4 Full Synthetic 5W- 50 4-cycle oil or a similar oil for this engine. Oil may need to be changed more frequently if POLARIS oil is not used. Always use 5W- 50 oil. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for ambient temperature operation. See page 147 for the part numbers of POLARIS products.

See the table on page 95 for fluid recommendations, capacities and plug torques.

NOTICE: Mixing brands or using a non-recommended oil may cause serious engine damage. Always use the recommended oil. Never substitute or mix oil brands.
