LIMITED WARRANTY
PolkAudio,Inc. warrantsthe original purchaseronly that this
PolkAudioDXi SubwoofersProduct (the Product)will be free
fromdefectsin materialsand workmanship fora period of
(1)oneyear from the date of originalretail purchasefrom
aPolkAudio Authorized Dealer.However, thiswarranty will
automaticallyterminatepriorto the expirationof the (1) one
yearperiodif the originalretail purchaser sellsor otherwise
transferstheProduct to anyother party. The originalretail
purchasershallhereinafter be referred to as “you.”To allow
PolkAudioto offer the bestpossible warranty service,please
filloutthe Product RegistrationCard(s) andsend them to the
Factoryatthe address providedin the RegistrationCard
within(10)ten days of the dateof purchase.
DefectiveProductsmustbe shipped, togetherwith a proof of
purchase,prepaidinsuredto the AuthorizedPolk Audio Dealer
fromwhomyou purchased theProduct, or to 1 Viper Way,
Vista,California 92081. Productsmust be shipped in the
originalshippingcontaineror its equivalent;in any case
theriskof loss or damage in transitis to be borne by you.
If,uponexam-ination at theFactory or Polk AudioAuthorized
Dealeritis determined thatthe unit was defectivein materials
orworkmanshipat any time duringthe Warranty period,
PolkAudioor the Polk Audio Dealerwill, at its option,repair
orreplacethis Product at noadditional charge,except as set
forthbelow.All replacedparts and Products becomeproperty
ofPolkAudio. Products replacedor repaired underthis
Warrantywillbe returnedto you, within a reasonable
time,freightprepaid.
ThisWarrantydoes not includeservice or partsto repair
damagecausedby accident,disaster, misuse,abuse,
negligence,inad-equatepackingor shippingprocedures,
commercialuse,voltageinputs in excess of therated maxi-
mumofthe unit, cosmetic appearanceof the cabinetrynot
directlyattributabletodefects in materialsor workmanship,
orservice,repair, or modificationsof the Productwhich
hasnotbeen authorized orapproved by Polk Audio.
ThisWarrantyis in lieu of allother expressed Warranties.
IfthisProduct is defectivein materials and workmanshipas
warrantedabove,your soleremedy shall be repairor replace-
mentasprovided above. Inno event will Polk Audio,Inc. be
liabletoyou for any incidentalor consequentialdamages
arisingoutof the use or inabilityto use the Product,even
ifPolkAudio, Inc. or a Polk AudioDealer has been advised
ofthepossibility of such damages,or any other claimby any
otherparty.Some states donot allow the exclusionor
limitationofconsequentialdamages, so theabove limitation
andexclusionmay not applyto you. This Warrantygives you
specificlegalrights whichmay vary from stateto state.
Thiswarrantyapplies onlyto Products purchasedin the United
StatesofAmerica, its possessions,and U.S. andNATO armed
forcesexchangesand audioclubs. The Warrantyterms and
conditionsapplicabletoProducts purchasedin other countries
areavailablefrom the PolkAudio Authorized Distributors
insuchcountries.
