Using the Basic Features of Your SoundPoint IP 330/320 Phone

 

 

 

To answer an incoming call on a line configured for multiple Line Keys:

Note

 

Use this procedure after the call prompt disappears. The call waiting prompt

 

interrupts the active call for 10 seconds, where the incoming call can be

 

immediately dealt with.

 

 

¾Do one of the following steps:

Answer the call by pressing

or

associated

with the second incoming call.

The first call is put on hold and the second call is answered.

Press to put the original call on hold.

Soft key labels are updated on the display showing Ignore, Answer, and Reject.

Answer the incoming call.

This places the original call on hold and refreshes the soft key labels.

Answering a call on shared line is no different than on private line, except that there is no Reject soft key and another person on the shared line might answer the call.

Ending a Call

To end a call:

¾Do one of the following steps:

Press the EndCall soft key.

Replace the handset.

Press

if in Hands-free Speakerphone Mode, or

if in

Headset Mode.
