Surround Mode 1
•When EXTERNAL IN is selected, the DSP and the AUTO button do not work.
1If a digital device is connected to DIGITAL IN terminals, select desired decoding mode by pressing the AUTO button.
Each time the AUTO button is pressed, the decoding mode is changed as follows:
The appropriate decoding mode is selected automatically. Usually, select this.
Select this only when the input signal is DTS.
Select this only when the input signal is PCM.
•The AUTO button works only when the function is set to VIDEO or CD and the digital input is selected.
•When
•If the selected decoding mode does not match with the input signal, “DIGITAL” indicator will blink and no sound will be heard.
