Locking Out Talk Group IDs

You can only lock out Talk Group IDs when the scanner is in the Closed mode.

To lock out Talk Group IDs:

1.Press PROG then TRUNK.

2.Press FUNC, or to move to the desired bank.

3.Press or to select the ID.

4.Press L/OUT to lock out the ID. “lo” changes to “LO.”

5.To remove the lockout from a trunking ID, manually select the ID memory, and press L/OUT. LO changes to lo.

You cannot clear all lockouts from a talk group at the same time.

To review locked-out Talk Group IDs:

1. Press PROG then TRUNK.

2.Press FUNC. Then L/OUT. The first locked out ID appears. If the

ID memory bank has no locked-out ID, you hear the low beep tone.

3.Press or to scroll through the list.

4.Press PROG to exit.

Turning Off Sub-Banks

To turn off a sub-bank:

1.Press TRUNK repeatedly to select the desired sub-bank.

2.Press FUNC then 1 to turn the sub-bank on if it is off or off if it is on.
