Transmitting an Individual Call
To make an Individual Call to a ship or coast station, you must select the specific MMSI number to contact and the working channel to be used for the call. The MMSI ID can be entered manually or selected from a Phonebook list of preprogrammed numbers specified using the MENU function.
1. Press and release the CALL/MENU key to enter the DSC menu. The arrow is pointing to INDIVIDUAL.
2.Push the CH knob to select INDIVIDUAL. The Individual menu appears, which displays the Phonebook entries you have saved and <MANUAL> for manual number entry.
