4.Introduzca el eje en el bastidor y fíjelo con una arandela y una tuerca de 1/2 pulgada. Coloque la barra de frenado de tal manera que el extremo de la barra quede sujeto por el cañó n del eje. Corra una rueda por el eje, luego una arandela plana por el eje y coloque una chaveta para retener la rueda en el eje.

5.Monte la máquina sobre el soporte empleando cuatro (4) pernos, uno en cada esquina de la base.

CUIDADO Para funcionar en forma óptima y equili- brada, las máquinas RIDGID deben montarse al so- porte sobre los agujeros correctos (Figura 3).

Montaje de la máquina sobre un banco

1.Si no se emplea un soporte, la máquina debe montarse sobre un banco estable. Para montarla sobre un banco, atornille cuatro (4) pernos de 5/16 pulgada por los agujeros provistos en las cuatro esquinas de la base de la máquina.

ADVERTENCIA Si no se monta la máquina ros- cadora sobre un soporte o banco estable, la máquina puede volcarse y causar lesiones graves.
