TROUBLESHOTING
PS/2 Mouse cursor appears on the screen, but Mouse does not work.
∙Press the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Up (á) arrow key to reset the Mouse.
∙Cable is loose,
∙Keyboard and Mouse cables reversed.
∙Try a different model of Mouse.
∙Power off and on the Remote Unit
System does not detect PS/2 Mouse or application cannot find Mouse.
∙Keyboard and Mouse cables reversed on the Local Unit.
∙Cable is loose,
∙Ensure that the Keyboard cable to the Local Unit is connected to provide adequate power to the Local Unit.
∙Reboot PC.
Mouse movement is erratic.
∙Press the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Up (á) arrow key to reset the Keyboard and Mouse.
∙Issue a Null Mouse Command (up to 3 times), Press the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Left arrow (ß) key.
∙Reload the application and/or reboot the PC. If this problem persists call Rose Electronics technical support.
Keyboard and Mouse have locked up.
∙Reset the Keyboard and Mouse by pressing the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Up (á) arrow key.
∙Reset PC and the Remote Unit.
∙Check power to the Remote Unit.
