TROUBLESHOTING

PS/2 Mouse cursor appears on the screen, but Mouse does not work.

Press the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Up (á) arrow key to reset the Mouse.

Cable is loose, re-seat the Mouse cable and press the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Up (á) arrow key.

Keyboard and Mouse cables reversed.

Try a different model of Mouse.

Power off and on the Remote Unit

System does not detect PS/2 Mouse or application cannot find Mouse.

Keyboard and Mouse cables reversed on the Local Unit.

Cable is loose, re-seat Mouse cable on the CPU and the Local Unit.

Ensure that the Keyboard cable to the Local Unit is connected to provide adequate power to the Local Unit.

Reboot PC.

Mouse movement is erratic.

Press the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Up (á) arrow key to reset the Keyboard and Mouse.

Issue a Null Mouse Command (up to 3 times), Press the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Left arrow (ß) key.

Reload the application and/or reboot the PC. If this problem persists call Rose Electronics technical support.

Keyboard and Mouse have locked up.

Reset the Keyboard and Mouse by pressing the “Hot Key” and then the Num Pad Up (á) arrow key.

Reset PC and the Remote Unit.

Check power to the Remote Unit.
