Taking photos with the front display

Using the Children mode S a p s d

This mode draws children’s attention to the camera by showing a short animation on the front display.

1 In Shooting mode, press the front LCD button, and then select .

•The camera will display an animation.

2 Half-press [Shutter] to focus.

3 Press [Shutter] to take the photo.

•You can add sounds to animations to draw children's attention. (p. 99)

Using the Couple mode S a p s d

This mode detects 2 subjects leaning in toward each other and automatically captures the image of the posing couple.

1 In Shooting mode, press the front LCD button, and then select .

•The white frame means that the faces are recognized.

•The green frame means that the faces are in focus when you half-press [Shutter].

2 Lean in toward each other in the frame.

•	The camera will detect 2 faces if the faces are the same distance from
	the camera.
•	The camera may not detect the faces depending on the pose of the
	couple.
