Things to watch out for when using the SF(Safety Flash)
1.You can use the SF in the AUTO and MANUAL mode.
2.If you select the SF in the 2048 or above image size, the captured image size is changed to 1600.
3.The SF range is 2m(WIDE) and 1.5m(TELE).
4.If the lighting conditions are brighter than fluorescent lighting condition, the SF doesn’t activate.
5.If the lighting condition is darker than in fluorescent lighting condition, ( ) icon, [SF
OFF] message and camera shake warning indicator( ) will display. If you press the shutter button in this condition, the SF will not activate. To take a brighter image, use the
auto flash mode.
6.If the subject is moving the final image captured may be blurred.
7.As the SF uses the camera’s digital processor, images taken using the SF may take a little longer for the camera to process.
When you use the SF, continuous shooting, special effect and digital zoom at the same time, there are restrictions of using the functions. Refer to the below table for more information.

1.If you select the [Special Effect] menu and select the SF or [Continuous] menu, the selected [Special Effect] setting will be cancelled.
2.If you select the digital zoom and select the SF or the [Special Effect] menu, the digital zoom will be cancelled.
