Quick On STBY

When you are going to record frequently for an extended time, use the Quick On STBY function to reduce energy consumption and battery drain. With the Quick On STBY function On, closing the LCD screen starts Quick On STBY.

1Press the Home () button ￿ touch “Settings” ￿ “General” ￿ “Quick On STBY”.

2Touch the desired submenu item.

3To exit the menu, touch the Return() tab.

Submenu items

•Off: Closing the LCD screen turns off the camcorder.

•5 Min: Closing the LCD screen starts the Quick On STBY mode after a short period of time. After 5 minutes in Quick On STBY mode, the camcorder turns off.

• We recommend turning off the camcorder after use to reduce energy consumption. However, as an alternative, you can use the Quick On STBY function under most shooting conditions to reduce energy consumption effectively.

•The charging indicator keeps blinking in Quick On STBY mode.

•The Quick On STBY mode is not available under the following conditions:

-When the LCD screen is open.

-When you operate the buttons on the camcorder.

-While recording.
