Drag (Move/Select)

Click and hold the left touchpad but- ton on the point to drag, and drag your finger to the desired location while holding down the touchpad button.

 

This button is held down Place the touchpad pointer on

Scroll function

the title bar of the window.

 

Use the scroll button located between the touchpad buttons to move the screen up and down.

To use the scroll function of the touchpad

The touchpad has a scroll function, which can be used for the same purpose as the wheel dial of a wheel mouse. Movement up and down along the right edge of the touch pad (scroll up and down) and left and right along the bottom edge of the touch pad (scroll left and right) will produce desired scrolling effects.

However, this may not apply to all programs.

Caution

Note

Using other objects other than a finger for touchpad use will result in touchpad mal- func tion and damage. Only use bare fingers.

To utilize the touchpad buttons for other more diverse functions, please refer to the Mouse icon in the Control Panel.

To use both the touchpad and a PS/2 mouse simultaneously, set PS/2 Mouse item in the Advanced menu of System Setup(page 6-3) to ‘Enabled’.
