Connect to a wireless LAN (WLAN)

To create a new access point connection for a WLAN:

1.In Standby mode, press [ ] → Settings → Connection → Access points → <Options> → New access point.

2.Edit the following settings:

•Connection name: set a name for the access point connection

•Data bearer: select Wireless LAN•WLAN network name: set a name for a WLAN network

•WLAN network status: set to Hidden if the WLAN network you are connecting to is hidden or Public if it is not hidden

Web

•WLAN network mode: choose a WLAN mode

•WLAN security mode: choose a security level of a WLAN network

•WLAN security settings: change the security settings

•Homepage: set a homepage for access points that connect to web services

3.When you are finished, press <Back>.

To connect to a WLAN:

1.In Standby mode, press [] → Web.

2.Access a web page:

•Scroll to a bookmark or folder and press the trackball

•Enter a web address and press the trackball
