Messaging Settings

Your phone’s messaging settings allow you to create and edit preset messages, signatures, notifications, and so on, making messaging faster and easier than ever to use.

Setting the Message Notification Display

When you receive a text message, your phone notifies you by displaying an icon on your display screen. You can also choose to be notified with a message notification on your display screen.

To set the message notification display:

1.Select > Settings > Messaging > Notification.

2.Select Msgs and Icon or Icon Only.

Managing Preset Messages

Your phone can store preset messages for use with text messaging and picture messaging. You can edit your phone’s default preset messages through the Settings menu.

To edit a preset message:

1.Select > Settings > Messaging > Preset Msgs. (The list of preset messages is displayed.)

2.Select the message you want to edit and press .

3.Use your keypad to edit the message and press OK (left softkey) to save your changes.

To reset all messages, press Options > Reset All Msgs > Yes during step 2 above.
