Web

Launching the Web

To launch a Web connection:

1. Press to access the main menu.

2. Select Weband press . (Your Web connection will launch

and a Web page will display.)

Net Guard

When the Net Guard is enabled, a message will appear to confirm

that you want to connect to the Web. This feature helps you avoid

accidental connections. You can disable the Net Guard in the future

by selecting Always Auto-Connect when the Net Guard is displayed.

To change your Net Guard settings:

䊳Select > Settings > Internet > Net Guardand choose an option:

䡲On to activate the Net Guard.

䡲Off to deactivate the Net Guard.

Note: When enabled, the Net Guard appears only once per session. The Net

Guard does not appear if the phone is merely re-connecting due to a time-out.

Browsing the Web

Creating a Bookmark

Bookmarks allow you to store the address of your favourite Websites

for easy access at a later time.

To create a bookmark:

1. Launch the Web page you want to mark.

2. Press (right softkey) to open the browser menu.

3. Select Mark this page and press or OK (left softkey).

4. Press .

Note: Bookmarking a page does not store the page contents, just its address.

Some pages cannot be bookmarked. Whether a particular Web page may be

marked is controlled by its creator.
