114 Section 2F: Using Contacts
SecretContacts Entries
You can hide an entry’s phone number(s) and require your lock
code to editthe entry by making itsecret. The entry name is
still displayed, butthe entry’s phone numbers are replaced
with “<Secret>.”
To make an entry secret:
1. From standby mode, press Contacts(rightsoftkey).
2. Selectthe Contacts entry you wantto tag as secret.
3. Press Options(rightsoftkey) > SetSecret.
4. Enter the four-digitlock code.
5. SelectOn.
To make an entry public:
1. From standby mode, press Contacts(rightsoftkey).
2. Selectthe Contacts entry you wantto tag as public.
3. Press Options(rightsoftkey) > SetSecret.
4. Enter the four-digitlock code.
5. SelectOff.
Tip:If you can’trecall your lock code, try using the lastfour digits of either
your Social Security number or your wireless phone number or try 0000.
