Setting Abbreviated Dialing
Abbreviated Dialing allows you to dial a number using only
four or five digits. You can use either of the following options
for this feature:
Ph. Book Matchallows you to retrieve any number saved in
your Contacts listby entering the lastthree to six digits of
the number.
Prepend #allows you to predefine the firstfive- or six-digit
prefix you wish to use for abbreviated dialing, so thatyou
can dial a number by entering only the lastfour or five
digits of the number.
To setAbbreviated Dialing:
1. Select > Settings > Others >Abbrev. Dial.
2. SelectPh. Book Match, and then selectEnableor Disable.
3. SelectPrepend, and then selectEnable.
4. SelectPrepend#, enter the firstfive- or six- digitprefix,
and then press OK(leftsoftkey).
To deactivate this feature, selectDisableduring step
4 above.
