USAGE
If you press a button while the child lock is activ e, the button will have no effec t and ‘to unlock
press for 3s’ will be displayed on the information sc reen. If the child lock is active and the
programme dial is switched to STOP and anot her programme selected, the p reviously selected
programme will continue from the point where it was s topped. No change will take place.
To deactivate child lock, press the child lock but tons for a minimum of 3 seconds. ‘keylock
deactivated’ will be displayed on the infor mation screen. Please be awar e that child lock is
automatically deactivated once a progr amme ends.
Please Note: Child lock does not lock the pump cover or detergent dr awer of your Washer
Dryer.

Power Supply Failure:

If a power cut should occur while a programme is running, the p rogramme will continue from
the same point once power is restored. T his will not cause any harm to your Washer Dryer or
laundry. During a power cut, the door lock mechanism will release af ter 2 minutes. Do not open
the door if there is water in your machine. If you wish to collect y our laundry, drain your Washer
Dryer first. Page 65 contains ins tructions on how to drain your machine.
MAINTENANCE
From time to time it may be necessary to c arry out some routine mainte nance of your Washer
Dryer to ensure that it operates as inten ded. Before cleaning your Washer Dryer:
1 Turn your mains power supply off and remove the plug from the socket.
2 Turn off the cold water supply.
CAUTION:
Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, glass cleaner s or all-purpose cleaning
agents to clean your Washer Dryer. They may damage the plastic sur faces and other
components with the chemicals they contain.

External Casing:

Use a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent, or soap and water, to clean the external casing.
Wipe dry with a soft cloth.

The Drum:

Use a suitable stainless steel cleaning agent to clean the drum. Follow the manufacturer’s
advice on the cleaning agent’s packaging.

Extra Cleaning:

Deposits may build up in your Washer Dryer when washing is mainly carried out at low
temperatures. To prevent these deposits f rom building up, carry out a hot wash (70°C
or above) once every 6 weeks. If you have no reaso n to wash occasionally at this high
temperature, run a high temperature cotto ns programme with detergent but no laun dry at
regular intervals.
