Advanced picture settings

The advanced settings enable you to set the picture adjustment in more detail. There are twelve options you can choose from.

1Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

2Press c/d to select “Picture”.

3Press a/b to select “Advanced”, and then press ENTER.

4Press a/b to select the desired menu, and then press ENTER.

HFilm Mode

Automatically detects a fi lm-based source (originally encoded at 24/25 frames/second, depending on the vertical frequency), analyses it then recreates each still fi lm frame for high-defi nition picture quality.

H Active contrast

Automatically adjusts the contrast of an image according to the scene.

H Gamma adjustment

HC.M.S.-hue

This function adjusts the hue of a selected colour using a six-colour adjustment system.

Adjust mid-level brightness. The adjustment range of the gamma can be set to a maximum of +2 and a minimum of -2 by pressing c or d.

HC.M.S.-saturation

This function increases or decreases the saturation of a selected colour using a six-colour adjustment system.

HC.M.S.-value

This function makes the image brighter or darker depending on the value of the setting.

HColour Temp. (Colour temperature)

Adjusts the colour temperature to give the best white image.
