Manual Focus
Auto Focus may not be able to focus on the subject in the situations shown below. In such situations, set the camcorder to Manual Focus mode and focus manually.
Subject is too dark. | Lack of contrast, e.g. snow | |

1 Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode.
2 Press the AUTO ON/OFF button to select Manual mode.
3 Press the MENU/DISPLAY button until the menu screen appears.
4 Select T, then press r on the Operation button. Select “MAN. FOCUS” (1), then press r (2).
