make long distance telephone calls that are then billed to the system owner are criminals. Cu r-

rently, we do not know of any telecommunications system that is im mune to this type of criminal

activity. Siemens will not accept liability for any damages, including long distance ch ar ges,

which result from unauthorized use. Although Siemens has designed security features into its

products, it is your sole responsibility to use the security features and to esta blish security prac-

tices within your company, including training, security aw are ness, and call auditing.

with you to help you prevent this type of unauthorized use o f your telecommunications system.

NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the li mits for a Class A digital

device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable

protection against harmful interference when the equipmen t is op erated in a commercial envi-

ronment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy a nd i f not in-

stalled and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interferenc e to

radio communication. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is li kely to cause harmful

interference, in which case the user will be required to take whatever measures may be required

to correct the interference at his or her own expense.

This equipment does not exceed Class A limits per radio no ise emissions for digital apparatus,

set out in the Radio Interference Regulation of the Canadian Department of Communic at io ns.

Operation in a residential area may cause unacceptable interference to radio and TV rec ep ti on
