4.1Creating a Phone Connection

The Web interface can be used to check and configure individual device and network settings for optiPoint 410/420 S phones.

You can access the Web interface via the following browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer (latest version recommended). Proceed as follows to access the Web interface:

Open a Web browser and enter the URL of the phone as follows:

https://[address]

Here, [address] represents the phone’s IP address or host name.

Example: The Web interface URL for a phone with the IP address 192.168.1.137 is entered as follows:

"https://192.168.1.137".

The following dialog appears:

Confirm the "Security Alert" by selecting "Yes".
