Configuring the popup blocker

You must allow popups for the configuration program in order to start it.

Internet Explorer

If working with Windows XP Service Pack 2, popups are blocked by default. Carry out the following steps:

ìRight-click on the browser information bar.

ìSelect Allow popups from this screen.

ìConfirm the dialogue window by clicking on OK.

The configuration pages for the Gigaset SE551 WLAN dsl/cable are now allowed as popups.

You can make additional settings for popups within Internet Explorer

uvia the Tools – Popup manager menu item or u via Tools – Internet Options in the Privacy tab.

Mozilla Firefox

Popups are blocked by default. Carry out the following steps:

ìOpen Mozilla Firefox. Click on Tools and then on Settings.

ìIn the Settings window, click on the Web features tab.

ìIn the Web features window, deactivate the option Block popup windows.

ìFinish by clicking on OK.
