Configuring the Advanced Settings

If you have activated the device's DynDNS function, it will monitor its public IP address. When this changes, it will open a connection to DynDNS.org and update its IP address there.

Please remember:

You have to open an account with DynDNS.org before you can use the Gigaset SE551 WLAN dsl/cable's DynDNS function. Follow the instructions on the DynDNS.org. web- site. Then enter the user data when configuring the router.

ìTo use the router's DynDNS function, select Dynamic DNS in the Advanced Set- tings – Internet menu.

ìActivate the Dynamic DNS function.

ìFrom the Service provider list, select the service offering dynamic DNS (DynDNS.org or TZO.com).

ìEnter Domain name, User name and Password. You will have received the neces- sary information when registering with your Service provider.

ìClick on OK to apply the settings.
