
Base station settings
The base station settings are carried out using a registered Gigaset SL37H handset.
Protecting against unauthorised access

~Enter new system PIN. For security the PIN is shown as
four stars (****).

Resetting the system PIN
If you have forgotten your system PIN you can reset the base station to the original code 0000:
Disconnect the power cord from the base station. Hold down the registration/pag- ing key ÷on the base station while reconnecting the power cable to the base station. Release the key after a time.
The base has now been reset and the system PIN 0000 set.
Activating/deactivating music on hold
w¢Ð¢Base ¢Music on holdPress §OK§ to activate or deactivate music on hold ( ‰ = on).
Repeater support
With a repeater you can increase the range and reception strength of your base sta- tion. You will need to activate repeater mode. This will terminate any calls that are in progress at the time.

Please note:
Repeater support and eco mode (see page 12) cancel each other out, i.e. both functions cannot be used at the same time.
Restoring the base station to the factory settings
When the settings are restored
ueco mode is disabled,
uhandsets are still registered, u the system PIN is not reset,
uthe SMS information services are not reset.
