Raise presser foot lifter and slide fabric from under the presser foot.

Using a removable fabric marker, draw lines on the fabric’s right side,to represent size of your button. Always make a practice buttonhole on a scrap of the fabric you are using. Use an interfacing or stabilizer between the two fabric layers to create a more stable buttonhole.

Àl'aide d'un crayon à tissu, marquez la position et la taille du bouton souhaité sur l'endroit du tissu. Cousez tout d'abord une boutonnière sur un échantillon du tissu souhaité. Il est conseillé d'appliquer un entoilage sous le tissu afin qu'il ne fronce pas pendant la couture.

Place the buttonhole foot on the machine, slide the foot toward the back as shown.
