* The button on the remote works in slightly different way from that on the player. When operating the player on the rechargeable battery, you cannot start playback using on the remote unless you turn on the power of the player.
To replace the battery in the remote
Replace the battery with a new CR2025 lithium battery with correct polarity.
1 While pushing the lock lever , pull out the battery holder .
2 Remove the old battery.
3 Place the new battery with + side facing up, and insert the battery holder securely to the end.
When to replace the battery
When the battery becomes weak, you may not be able to operate the player by operating the remote. The battery will last for about 1 year in normal operation (the duration may be shorter depending on the condition of use). When the player does not respond to the remote operation at all, replace the battery with new one and operate the player using the remote to make sure that the remote is working correctly.
