7 Repeat steps 1 to 6 to store other stations.

You can preset up to 20 FM stations and 10 AM stations.

The preset stations are retained for a day even if you unplug the power cord or if a power failure occurs.

8 To listen to a preset station, press PRESET +/repeatedly to select the preset station you want.

You can also press the numeric buttons , then press ENTER to select a preset station.

To stop automatic scanning

Press .

To cancel presetting

Press DVD/TUNER MENU .

Tip

You can set a frequency directory with the numeric buttons by pressing D. TUNING button .

Listening to a non-preset radio station/station with a weak signal

1 Press FUNCTION +/repeatedly to select “TUNER FM” or “TUNER AM” (or touch TUNER/ BAND on the unit repeatedly to select “FM” or “AM”).

2 Press TUNING +/repeatedly to tune in the station you want.

To change the AM tuning interval

The AM tuning interval is factory-preset to 9 kHz or 10 kHz (for some areas: this function is not available on the European, Russian and Saudi Arabian models).

1Press FUNCTION +/repeatedly

to select “TUNER AM” (or touch TUNER/BAND repeatedly to select “AM”).

2Press /to turn off the system.

3Press DISPLAY repeatedly until “SONY DEMO” appears in the display.

4Press /on the unit while touching on the unit.

“AM 9k Step” or “AM 10k Step” appears in the display.

When you change the interval, all the AM preset stations are erased.
