Set the tape deck to stand by for recording.
For CD Synchro Recording:
Press CD SYNC ̢.
If the play mode is set to Shuffle Play, Program Play or Repeat Play, it automatically switches to Normal Play.
For Manual Recording and Sound Mixing:
Press ĆSTART ̢.
Start recording.
For CD Synchro Recording:
Press ĆSTART ̢. When the recording is completed, the CD player and the tape deck stop automatically.
For Manual Recording:
Press ĆSTART ̢, and then start playing the desired recording source. If there is noise while recording from the tuner, reposition the appropriate antenna to reduce the noise.
For Sound Mixing:
Press ĆSTART ̢, and then start playing the desired source and start singing or speaking into the microphone.
If acoustic feedback (howling) occurs, reduce the volume, move the microphone away from the speakers, or change the direction of the microphone.

ˎCD Synchro Recording is not available with DVDs, DATA CDs and DATA DVDs.
ˎYou cannot listen to other sources while recording.
ˎWhen you press CD SYNC ̢in step 5, the surround effect may automatically change.
ˎWhen you record from a VIDEO CD, playback with PBC functions is automatically canceled.
ˎIf you connect or disconnect a microphone or headphones during recording, the sound may cut off for a moment.
ˎWhen DVD is selected, Karaoke Mode is automatically turned on when you connect an optional microphone to MIC jack ̟.
ˎIf there is noise while recording from the tuner, reposition the appropriate antenna to reduce the noise. While recording, you cannot listen to other sources.
ˎIf a disc is loaded when the functions other than DVD are selected, recording automatically stops.
ˎCD SYNC ̢only works in “DVD” function.
