Power Saving Mode

The demonstration display and the clock display can be turned off to minimize the amount of power consumed during standby mode (Power Saving Mode).

Press DISPLAY repeatedly while the system is turned off.

1)The display changes and the indicators flash even when the system is turned off.

2)The clock display automatically turns to

Power Saving Mode after eight seconds. When DISPLAY is pressed once during no display, the clock is displayed. When pressed during clock display, the demonstration display appears.

Note

You cannot perform the following operations during Power Saving Mode:

Setting the clock (page 29).

Changing the AM tuning interval (Except for European, Russian and Saudi Arabian models) (page 71).

Changing the color system (Except for European and Russian models) (page 24).

Viewing information about the disc

Press DISPLAY .

Each time you press DISPLAY , the display changes from 
