Error message | Cause/Remedy |
BATTERY | You cannot format the memory or erase all the files in a folder |
| because of insufficient battery power. Prepare new batteries to |
| replace the current ones. |
LOW BATTERY | Batteries are exhausted. Replace the old batteries with new |
| ones. Or charge the rechargeable batteries or replace the old |
| rechargeable batteries with new ones. |
MEMORY FULL | The remaining memory capacity of the IC recorder is |
| insufficient. Erase some messages before recording. |
FILE FULL | When there are already 999 messages in the selected folder or |
| the total number of the file stored in the IC recorder becomes |
| maximum, you cannot record a new message. Erase some |
| messages before recording a message. |
FILE DAMAGED | You cannot play or edit messages, because the data of the |
| selected file is damaged. |
FORMAT ERROR | The IC recorder cannot be turned on using the computer |
| because there is no copy of the control file required for |
| operation. Format the IC recorder using the formatting |
| function in the menu. |
PROCESS ERROR | The IC recorder failed in memory access. Remove and then |
| re‑insert the batteries. |
| Save a backup copy of your data and format the IC recorder |
| using the menu. |
