Self-diagnosis display

The camera has a self-diagnosis display. This function displays the camera condition with five- digits (a combination of a letter and figures) on the LCD screen. If this occurs check the following code chart. The five- digit display informs you of the camera current condition. The last two digits (indicated by ¹¹) will differ depending on the state of the camera.

You can reverse the camera malfunction yourself.

Contact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility.

• Trouble is with the disk drive.

 

nTurn the power off and on again.

 

 

C:13:¹¹

• The unformatted disk is installed.

 

nFormat the disk. (p.34)

 

• The unusable disk with the camera is

 

installed.

 

nChange the disk. (p. 15, 16)

A camera malfunction which you can not reverse has occurred.

nContact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility and inform them of the five digits. (example: E:61:10)
