Whenyo u record images in an extremely cold location or using the LCD screen, the

operatingtime becomes short.When using the camera in an extremelycold location,

placethe battery pack i n your pocket or other place to keep it warm, then insert the

batterypack into the camera just beforerecording. When using a pocket heater, take

carenot to let the heater directly contact the battery.

Auto power-off function

Ifyou do not oper ate the camera for about three minutes duri ng recording, the camera

turnsoff automatically to prevent wearing down the batteryp ack.To use the camera

again,slide the POWER switch to the right to turn on the camera again.

Note on the POWER ON/OFF (CHG) lamp during charging

ThePOWER ON/OFF (CHG) lamp may flash:

•Whena m alfunction occurs in the battery pack.

ThePOWER ON/OFF (CHG) lamp does not light up:

•Whenthe battery pack is not installed properly.
