“MemoryStick”is a new compact,

portableand versatile IC recording

mediumwith a data capacity that

exceedsa floppy disk. “MemoryStick”

isspecial ly designed for exchanging

andsha ring digital data among

“MemoryStick”compatible products.

Because it is removable, “Memory

Stick”canalsobeusedforexternal

datastorage.

Thereare two types of “Memory

Sticks”:general “Memory Sticks”and

“MagicGateMemory Sticks”that are

equippedwith the MagicGate*

copyrightpr otection technology.

Youcanusebothtypesof“Memory

Stick”withyour camera. However,

becausey our camera does not support

theMagicGate standards, data

recorded with your camera is not

subject to MagicGate copyright

protection.
