To find a menu item quickly

The [Camera/Mic] and [Setup] menus have sub-categories. Select the sub-category icon so that the LCD screen displays the list of menus in the sub-category selected.

When you cannot select a menu item

Grayed out menu items or settings are not available.

When you select the grayed out menu item, your camcorder displays the reason why you cannot select the menu item or the instruction of under which condition you can set the menu item.
