Button			Oper-	Description
			ates	VTR(VCR): Turns the VTR(VCR) on and off.
VTR	TV	POWER
		SAT		TV: Turns the TV on and off.
				SAT: Turns the Digital Satellite Receiver on and off.
FUNCTION				VTR(VCR): Puts the remote in VTR mode. In VTR
VTR	TV	SAT		mode, the remote operates your VCR.
				TV: Puts the remote in TV mode. In TV mode, the
				remote operates your TV.
				SAT: Puts the remote in Digital Satellite Receiver
				mode. In SAT mode, the remote operates your digital
				satellite receiver.
CODE SET				Used for programming the remote to operate your TV
				or VTR(VCR).
FAVORITE			SAT	Used for setting up and using the Favorite Station
				Guides. See “Using the Favorite Station Guides” on
				page 37 for details.
TV/VIDEO			TV	Switches the input of the TV.
TV/SAT			SAT	Switches the output of the Digital Satellite Receiver to
				TV (normal TV programs), if you’ve connected a TV
			SAT	cable or antenna, or to SAT programs.
JUMP				SAT: Used to tune to and set stations in the Jump Loop
			TV	(SAT). See “Using the Jump Loop Feature” on page 48
				for details. TV: Tunes to the last station you were
				tuned to.
0	to	9	SAT	Specifies the station number. SAT: In menus, selects
			TV	the menu item with the corresponding number. Also,
				in some screens, used to enter numerical values (such
			SAT	as a spending limit or passcode).
DISPLAY				Toggles through the different displays of on-screen
			TV	guides (SAT) or other display (TV). See “Using the
			SAT	DISPLAY Feature” on page 41 for details.
INDEX				Brings up the Station Index.
CATEGORY			SAT	Brings up the Category Guide.
EXIT			SAT	Clears all on-screen displays, including program
			TV	guides, menus, etc. If you press EXIT before you
				complete your selections, the previous selections are
			SAT	restored.
MENU				Brings up the Main Menu (Sony-brand TVs only.)
			TV
GUIDE			SAT	Brings up the Custom Guide. If you’re already in a
				program guide, pressing GUIDE repeatedly brings up
				future time slots in the guide.
			SAT	When moved up, down, left, and right, highlights
			TV	items in the on-screen displays (program guides,
				menus, etc.).
VOL	CH		TV	VOL: Increases and decreases the volume.
			SAT	CH/PAGE: Moves to the next (+) or previous (-)
		PAGE	VCR	station during normal viewing. In SAT program

guides and some setup screens, these buttons page through the on-screen displays.
