Reading Your Messages

Occasionally, your program providers will send messages to your

Digital Satellite Receiver. These messages contain useful information

about your system, such as information about new services, program

promotions, or billing.

How to Determine When

You’ve Received Mail

There are several ways to tell if you have unread mail:

qThe Digital Satellite Receiver front panel MESSAGE indicator

lights up.

qAn envelope ( ) appears in the Program Banner, accessed by

pressing the DISPLAY button.

qAn envelope ( ) appears in menu item 7 (Options Menu) of the

Main Menu.

Displaying Your Messages To display your messages:

1Press the MENU button to bring up the Main Menu.

2Select OPTIONS MENU.

3Select MESSAGES.

The date of the message, along with the ﬁrst few words of the message,

appear.
