Recording TV programmes

To stop recording

Press x STOP.

2Insert a tape with its safety tab in place.

3•To record a normal channel.

Press PROG +/– until the programme position number you want appears

in the display window.

•To record a video source from the LINE-1 (TV) or LINE-3 (Scart)

connector or the LINE-2 IN jacks. Press INPUT SELECT until L1, L2, or

L3 appears in the display window.

4Press SP/LP to select the tape speed, SP or LP.

LP (Long Play) provides recording time twice as long as SP. However, SP

(Standard Play) produces better picture and audio qualit y.

5Press z REC to start recording.

The recording indicator lights up red in the display window.
