Checking the information of a recorded programme

Press SMARTFILE. The SmartFile search list appears. The recording day of the week, start time, programme position, date, name, recording time and tape speed appear on the list.The longest space which doesn’t have any programme data (Blank Time space) appears as "BLANK TIME":

*When the station name is not available, the programme position is displayed instead.

Tip

You can manually name a recorded programme and select the category. You can also name the SmartFile tape.

Notes

If you don’t set the clock or the clock isn’t set to the correct time and date, the recording start time won’t be stored correctly on the Smartfile list. Also, the programme label won’t be stored correctly if the TV guide page information of Teletext is not set correctly (see page 81).

When you set the AUTO LONG PLAY option to ON in the TAPE OPTIONS menu, and the tape speed automatically changes from SP to LP during recording, the VCR displays the entire recording time converted to SP mode in the SmartFile list.

The recording time length in the SmartFile list is an estimation and may be slightly different from the actual recorded time length.
