Lets you assign an INPUT SELECTOR’s digital input to another INPUT SELECTOR with only analog input. You can make the following digital assignment.

For example, if you want to assign TV/SAT OPTICAL’s digital input to VIDEO 1, select “TV/SAT tVIDEO 1”. Otherwise, select “TV/SAT
tTV/SAT”.
Changing the command
mode of the receiver
This function is useful when you use 2 Sony receivers in the same room.
1 Turn off the receiver.
2 Hold down ENTER and press ?/1 to turn on the receiver.
“COM MODE [AVX]” appears in the display. Each time you repeat the procedure above, the display changes as follows: COM MODE [AV1] yCOM MODE [AV2]
Tip
The initial setting is “COM MODE [AV2]”.
Notes
•The initial setting for the command mode of the supplied remote is “AV2”.
•If the command mode of the receiver and the remote is different, you cannot use the remote to operate the receiver.
