Notes on speaker system hookup
•Twist the stripped ends of the speaker cables about 10 mm. Be sure to match the speaker cable to the appropriate terminal on the components: + to + and – to
•If you use speakers with low maximum input rating, adjust the volume carefully to avoid excessive output on the speakers.

Make sure the stripped ends of each speaker cable do not touch another speaker terminal or the stripped end of another speaker cable.
Examples of poor conditions of the speaker cable
Stripped speaker cable is touching another speaker terminal.
Stripped cables are touching each other due to excessive removal of insulation.
