Bluetooth™wirelesstechnology
The T68i features built-in Bluetooth wireless
technology.Its short-range radio link operates in
the globallyavailable 2.4 GHz radio frequency
band, ensuring fast and secure communications
up to a rangeof 10 metres. Please note that in
countries where the use of Bluetooth wireless
technology isnot allowed, the Bluetooth function
should beswitched off. Contact a Sony Ericsson
representativeto check if the use of Bluetooth
wirelesstechnology is restricted in your country.
Bluetoothwireless technology is designed to be
fully functional, providing high transmission
speeds,eveninnoisyradiofrequency
environments.All data transfer is protected by
advanced error-correction methods, ensuring a
highlevelofdatasecurity.Formoreinformation,
see “Bluetoothtechnical data” on page 56.
Bluetoothwireless technology facilitates instant
connections, which are maintained even when
the devicesare not within line of sight. High-
qualityvoice transmission is provided under
adverseconditions, making it possible to use a
headsetconnection to the T68i at all times. A blue
LED (Light Emitting Diode) is used for the
indicationof Bluetooth activity.
Ericssonis a founding partner of the Bluetooth
SpecialInterest Group (SIG). Bluetooth wireless
