In the T68i,the user selects whether to allow
push messagesor not. There are two different
forms of Push services:
Service Indication (SI)
AnSIservicesendstothebrowseratext
message with aU RLof a WAP page. If the user
decides to load the URL, normal WAP browsing
commences. When an SI is received by the T68i,
the user canload it immediately, postpone it or
deleteit. Received SIs are stored in the Push
Inbox and can be viewed and loadedat a later
time. The Push Inbox displays a list containing
thefirst part of each received message. The list is
sorted by action attribute(high/medium/low) or
reception time of the message.
Service Loading(SL)
An SL service sends and displaysa WAP page if
acceptedby the user. If the SL is not accepted, it
is loaded and storedin the cache for later use.
Theu sercan start the browser and load the page
from the cache manually.

ThemobileInternetoffersmuchmorethan
mobileaccess to the Internet. It opens up a whole
new range of situation-based services that give
theuser access to personalized communications,
informationand entertainment, anytime,
anywhere.

Data connections

In orderto browse via WAP or use an Internet
connection, the user must have a data
communicationconnection configured in the
phone.This connection contains specific settings
and parameters to connect to an appropriate
server.Several data connections can be saved in
the T68i. Tomake it easier for th eu ser,data
connections can be provided by the operator via
OTAprovisionin g.
Advantagesof data connections include:
Once the data connections are defined and
named, the user does not have to enter the
settingsfor the connection again.
Data connectionscan be re-used at any
time.
Individualdata settings for working with
WAP,e-mail or the Intern et can be stored
and activatedas needed.
Data connectionscan be used for both
GSM Data and GPRS connectionsettings.
Bearertype for WAP and corresponding
bearer-specificparameters may be
selected.
Dataconnections contain all the necessary
settingsfor the Internet access point,
includingmodem pool phone number or IP
address,user ID and password.
