Use a cotton swab or soft cloth moistened with alcohol (ethyl or isopropyl
alcohol) to wipe off the thermal element of the print head.
Important!
Never use sharp tools like a knife or abrasive materials such as sandpaper or
clean the thermal element. Doing so will seriously damage your printer.
Clean the platen, turning it occasionally to make sure you wipe its entire
surface.
Remove any dust or paper lint (which can adhere to paper and cause poor
printing) from inside the printer.
After cleaning the receipt printer, replace the platen cover and return the
thermal head unit to its original position.
Load thermal roll paper (page 9) and close the printer cover.
Important!
Always wait until the alcohol has dried completely before using the receipt
printer after cleaning it.
